The Catskill Project - Red Hil
Collecting new fossil material and placing it in its evolutionary and environmental context is the key objective of the study. A diverse assemblage of flora and fauna are being recovered from the Catskill Formation at Red Hill including a variety of plants, invertebrates and invertebrate traces, and vertebrates. Fossil material is curated in the accredited research collection at the Academy of Natural Sciences of Drexel University and serves as a resource for current and future researchers.
