Wise management of PA's natural resources depends on accurate and up-to-date info on the distribution and status of the state's biodiversity, especially those species considered to be of special conservation concern. This study was done to 1.)record specimen label data from historical collections of new species added to the list of Plants of Special Concern in PA 2.)continue a program to confirm taxonomic ID of POSCIP specimens 3.)conduct field surveys for POSCIP specimens and to document new sites for POSCIP and 4.)provide herbarium services to PNHP, WPC and other staff.
