Botanical Survey and Natural Community Classification for Presque Isle State Park
Under contract to the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, Department of Environmental Resources, Bureau of State Forestry, investigations were undertaken to collect data describing the plants of special concern and natural communities of Presque Isle State Park, Erie County, Pennsylvania, during 1987. The special concern plant field studies were a continuation of research conducted in 1985 and 1986 b James K. Bissell, Cleveland Museum of Natural History. The natural community studies were initiated in 1987 by James K. Bissell and Charles W. Bier, Western Pennsylvania Conservancy.
