Herbarium Studies of Pennsylvania Plants of Special Concern
The Carnegie Museum of Natural History herbarium received funding from the Wild Resource Conservation Fund in 1995 to perform the following:
1. Record specimen label data from historical collections of new species added to the list of Plants of Special Concern in Pennsylvania (POSCIP) and from new specimens of species already listed on POSCIP.
2. Continue a program to confirm taxonomic identifications of POSCIP specimens.
3. Discover and document taxa not included in "The Vascular Flora of Pennsylvania: Annotated Checklist and Atlas"
