County Inventories in Pennsylvania
During the period of this progress report (July 1st through December 31st 2010), this grant has funded County Natural Heritage Inventory activities for nine counties in Pennsylvania. Data entry from the previous field season is ongoing for surveys conducted in Cameron, Delaware, Erie and Pike. Draft reports for Jefferson and Indiana were completed for review. Comments and suggestions from the respective Draft Review Committees are being incorporated into the final versions of the reports. Data entry and report writing commenced for Cameron, Delaware and Pike Counties, and continued for Butler and Erie Counties. Landscape, data analysis, landowner contact and second season field surveys were conducted for Delaware and Pike Counties. This grant also provided for the integration of County Inventory and other Natural Heritage information and concepts into Greenways Planning efforts throughout the state.
