The Distribution and Status of Pennsylvania's Lampreys
We reviewed Pennsylvania lamprey records from the Pennsylvania State University, PA Fish and Boat Commission, Cornell University, Clarion State University, California University of PA, University of Michigan Museum of Zoology, and several individuals. All lamprey records found in the Pennsylvania Natural Heritage Program database were also reviewed. The validity of each record was determined based on several factors, including the existence of voucher specimens, location near or within a species' known range, date of collection, etc. Those records recommended for rejection or further scrutiny are highlighted in yellow or red in the spreadsheet and database.
